Front Drive Axle/Differential 205-03-5 205-03-5 REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION Axle Assembly General Equipment Transmission Jack Removal NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details. E128831 6. WARNING: Make sure that a new bolt and nut is installed. 1. Refer to: Lifting (100-02 Jacking and Lifting, Description and Operation). 2. Refer to: Differential Draining and Filling (205-03 Front Drive Axle/Differential, General Procedures). 3. Refer to: Front Driveshaft - 4WD (205-01 Driveshaft, Removal and Installation). 4. Refer to: Front Halfshaft LH (205-04 Front Drive Halfshafts, Removal and Installation). Refer to: Front Halfshaft RH (205-04 Front Drive Halfshafts, Removal and Installation). 5. Torque: 90 Nm 1 x4 2 NOTE: Position a suitable transmission jack under the front axle. Securely strap the jack to the axle. ‡ General Equipment: Transmission Jack 1. Torque: 70 Nm 2. Torque: 300 Nm 3. Torque: 125 Nm
